DAY 3 Mini Miami Getaway - for my roomie’s birthday
Trying to chill out from last night’s madness. Although the weather is overcast and due for some thunderstorms, it’s still perfect to just sit out in our hotel’s, “Lords South Beach”, outdoor patio - sippin’ on coffee, bloggin’ in a bikini top, and taking photo booth pics of the lil’ scene I’m in. Ahh, the life of no time constraints and pressure. haha But this Miami-swag vacation did it’s job of rejuvenation. I should be ready to go back to fashion grinding in NYC…yeah. YEAH?…yeah. okay. LEH GO!

Miami Style - Teal or Gold?
Day 2 on this Miami-loving style quest. Not really sure how I want to swag it up. Hmmm… I guess I could go with what I’m wearing outfit wise, but I usually don’t really plan outfits in advance.
Let’s set the tone for this decision. Today started off with an early morning breakfast, porch-side seating, warm weather conditions, girlfriend conversations to French Bossa Nova, and rockin’ them Bikini Tops. Uhh Huh! Yea. Into it! I’d want to wake up like this every morning. Anyways, Teal Style day or Gold style day?

Bahamian Street Art .
When traveling, I make sure to look for the street art because it’s a great way to learn about the culture. It’s all about context. I mean, you wouldn’t see this in NY and the subject matter wouldn’t usually have palm tree outlines, an island print, and a different language tagged on a wall. The colors are used differently too; a bright orange wall contrasting a Caribbean blue sky. If you walk around the local neighborhoods, you’ll notice their bright choice of color on Westernized architecture. Some buildings are neon coral with dark brown window shutters. You don’t see that everyday.
