The silly Crew
Had the opportunity to style and collaborate on a shoot for my friend, Jeff. It originally was going to be just an idea for a collection, but thought it would be more fun to explore it through styling. It’s based off of “Flamenco” dance, where volume, texture, and embellishment is enhanced through dance.

I think this is extremely beautiful. Artist, Lalla Essaydi, takes a busy print that is Arabian calligraphy and mutes it when used as a whole composition. I love this.

INSPIRED right now. just watched the documentary, “Born into Brothels”. it’s eye opening, heart-warming, and tragic all at the same time.
american photographer, Zana Briski, taught children of Calcutta’s red light district the art of photography. snap shot photography of the unspoken world these children live in. she changed their lives and brought them world-wide fame with this documentary and showcased their work internationally. it was beautiful!
watch it if you love culture, photography, film, and a good REALITY CHECK!
