Refinery29  did a beauty feature on me last week - but inez galvez  is a designer though :/ lol. EXACTLY! “Can Real Girls Pull Off Runway Beauty Looks?”, was the name of the shoot and I know first hand that we can! Real girls that grind their way around NYC was the key target and yours truly got to play with the big Runway pros. It was really fun and I got to wear my turbans all over the office! haha Refinery took a look from the Marc by Marc Jacobs show, noted the big hair, and decided to put me in the look. But to be honest, it looked better in person. lol The end result in photos looked way more subdued than in real life, making my excited reaction different. But hey…it’s okay! It was a blast, met talented, amazing people, and learned a few beauty tricks along the way. Here is another piece that I helped make for Cut 25. It was a bag made out of soft leather, lambskin, I believe. My friend had designed the awesome weaving pattern in the front of it. I had constructed the actual bag and made the prototype a few times, using cardboard. It was fun and makes me want to design bags now. haha Hopefully it will get produced. I mean, there are people out there ready to rock something bold like this… especially with ‘construction’ orange as a main color.  View high resolution

Sold the LAST of this ring awhile ago, just wanted to blog it because I’m excited it actually got some publicity. Thanks to my cousin, Edith (modeling it for me), who got it noticed. She was taking pictures are the Grammy’s and out of no where,MYA (the singer) actually asked and complimented it. Kinda cray cray I must say. So I need to figure out my internet situation and week schedule so I could FINALLY get my online store up and running.
