INEZ DOES IT HERSELF - Episode 1: Designer Vest
Turned a thrifted cotton vest into aneoprene, backed lambskin vest. Made it to give to my boyfriend for Christmas, but I kind of still have it. haha Please watch and enjoy the silliness.

NEW* D.I.Y. PROJECT - One day, I’ll have a swimwear line produced.
Decided to make a bikini top for an upcoming trip to Vegas. Peep how it started here. Many people don’t know the steps it takes to make a finished garment, even as simple as a bra. It’s definitely a process, but therapeutic in my eyes.
Step1. Took stretched fabric and pinned it to my bra. Drew out the lines and shapes, creating an outline of the bra onto the fabric.
Step2.Took the fabric off, traced the lines onto dot paper.
Step3. Retraced each shape separately and added seam allowance. Now they’re separate pattern pieces.
Step4. Pinned them to a new fabric and cut them out
Step5. Sewed them together. Figured out how to finish them. Made adjustments with markers
Step6. Took it apart again, then repeated from Step2 and on.
STEP7. Do it until it’s perfect!!!
2 1/2 - 3 weeks later, you have a bikini top! lol simple right? hahaa nope. But it’s so worth it because you LOVE it. For me, I can do this forever. :)

NYC subway scenes and their random quirks. haha This musician was pulling his jazz bass down the 6th Ave station and, amongst the chaotic tunnel, this thing was sooo distracting! haha In a good way of course. Oh Manhattan…you and your many personalities!

Another Space Gallery visit.
We went to a Terrarium workshop. It was pretty fun. They had a great tutorial on how to successfully create your own Terrarium AND supplied all of the ingredients. Yes! Soil, plants, jars…etc. It was really fun and relaxing, Nessa and I took home 3! hehehe There were also amazing art pieces us as usual. Sf has really unique artists, I can’t get enough of it. Hope you enjoy the few snippets I have of them.
The workshop was hosted by a group of SF Local Crafters, BlackMountain Craft Collective. Follow them on Facebook and if you have a quick moment one evening, I’d suggest attending their next workshop. Maybe I’ll see you there.

Best Valentine’s Day Card
Designed and thought out by my girl, Leigh, for her man in Washington. This is a true, successful long distance relationship and thanks to our latest technologies, we don’t to send out PRE-written telegrams that would take over a week for the significant other to receive. (That’s how my parents did it btw ;), they’re troopers for sure) Skype takes care of it in this era! But how relevant and perfect is this card? Every button, #, letter, card…etc. ALL MADE BY HAND! She cut out each button, evenly spaced them out. Found the reflective paper, measured perfectly, cut out the screen, and the cursor. She cleverly thought out the lines for the tool bar envelope.
C’mon, I know you’re impressed. =)
