She has become one of my best friends in this New York period and I honestly don’t know what I’d do without her. My creative drive is constantly being fueled by her. I don’t know if it’s because we went to art school, now that we are released, we aren’t exactly sure what to do with ourselves. haha But we cannot help but document, play, plan, create, and just be…artists in New York City. She has become one of my biggest supports out there and I know I’d be so lost without her. If it wasn’t for her encouragement, I wouldn’t have a project of pushing head wraps and turbans!
So to just prove a point, these photos are what I took on a regular ‘hang out’ day. We walk around the city with cameras, accessories I make, her narrative brain, our outfits and our sporadic personalities. I just love it and I wish I could film it because it all seems like an on-going day dream.
